A public register for stolen vehicles
CarIntel records vehicles reported stolen anywhere in the United Kingdom, puts them somewhere the public can actually search, and tells people when one goes missing nearby.
Why it exists
A vehicle theft generates a crime reference number and very little else. The details rarely reach the people most likely to spot the car — the neighbours, the delivery drivers, the recovery trade, the person parked next to it three streets away.
CarIntel closes that gap. A report takes under a minute to file and is immediately searchable by anyone, with the registration front and centre.
What you can do with it
- File a report with make, model, registration and last known postcode.

How we handle your report
Reports are public records: make, model, registration, colour, postcode and whatever identifying detail you add. Your name and email are not shown on the register — they are used to tie the report to your account and to notify you of updates.
Only supply the postcode a vehicle was taken from, not a full home address.
Privacy
Reports are public. Footage sent to us is not — it is stored privately, seen only by administrators, and deleted on a schedule. The privacy notice sets out what we hold and how to have it removed.
